Kenmore Ideas Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the NoughtNewsOne mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using NoughtNewsOne, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is securely encrypted and we cannot access it.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including:

• AI analysis requests

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to our premium service, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment card details.

• Process your subscription and verify access
• Personalise your content feed based on your preferences

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for user authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription events but does not have access to payment details. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to provide AI-powered article analysis. Article content may be sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's data retention policies apply. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.

Sentry: We use Sentry for error tracking and crash reporting to improve App stability. Sentry may collect technical information about errors. See Sentry Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Your saved articles and viewing history are retained while your account is active and deleted when you close your account.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure password hashing
• Access controls and authentication
• Regular security assessments

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
