Welcome to NoughtNewsOne. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the NoughtNewsOne mobile application ("App") operated by Kenmore Ideas Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

NoughtNewsOne is a news aggregation application that provides curated articles from institutional sources including think tanks, research organisations, and policy institutes. The App includes features such as:

• Curated news feed from verified institutional sources
• AI-powered article analysis and summaries
• Reality Check feature comparing mainstream and alternative perspectives
• Personal library for saving articles
• Content filtering by category preferences

2. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the App.

3. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. Only one free trial is permitted per user.

Subscription: After the free trial, continued access requires an active subscription at £1.99 per month. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and you are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Play Store account settings.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent any access controls or usage limits
• Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content: The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Kenmore Ideas Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Third-Party Content: Articles displayed in the App are sourced from third-party publishers and remain the property of their respective owners. We provide links to original sources and do not claim ownership of third-party content.

AI Analysis: AI-generated summaries and analyses are provided for informational purposes only. They represent automated interpretations and should not be considered authoritative or comprehensive.

6. Content Disclaimer

NoughtNewsOne aggregates content from external sources. We do not create, verify, or endorse the accuracy of third-party articles. The inclusion of any article does not constitute our endorsement of its content, source, or viewpoint.

AI-powered features provide automated analysis based on article content. These analyses may contain errors or omissions and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for decisions.

The "Reality Check" feature presents different perspectives on topics and does not imply that any particular viewpoint is correct or incorrect.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kenmore Ideas Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@noughtnews.com. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your App Store or Play Store account before requesting account deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kenmore Ideas Ltd regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
